Sixth Grade Camp
The sixth graders were off to camp last week at Hiram House. For three days and two nights under the guidance of camp counselors, the students learned archery, rock wall climbing, and canoeing as well as different levels of rope courses. During their arts and crafts time, the students did a beautiful job painting rocks and weaving brightly colored key rings. At night they gathered around the camp fire for songs, stories, and of course, s’mores. The children enjoyed three days of playing outside, walking in the woods, and making new friends. What a terrific way to begin the school year! Special thanks to Mrs. Sabol, Mrs. Ball, and Mrs. Stefancin for putting so much time and effort into making sure our sixth graders had a great camping experience!
