Wellness

Leadership and Wellness Program for Girls

Calling 3-5 grade girls to join Girls on the Run! This is a national program focused on character development that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The program meets twice per week and combines age-appropriate development lessons with running activities. Girls on the Run uses exercise, positive reinforcement, and encouraging role models to provide young girls with the confidence they need in school and beyond. Girls on the Run is non-competitive (no experience required, beginners welcome) and every girl is encouraged to try her best. Girls are required to attend both sessions each week as the lessons build upon each other. Teams are limited to 15 girls per team. Depending on the number of Coaches/volunteers, we will have limited space.

In order to participate, please formally register through the Girls on the Run website.
