Notre Dame Elementary and Middle School’s academic curriculum follows the rigorous standards set by the Diocese of Cleveland. Students from preschool - grade 8 receive an outstanding, comprehensive education that includes STEM focused curriculum, computer technology, art, music, Spanish, physical education and a vibrant athletic program.
NDES and NDMS believe each child is unique with different abilities, experiences and learning styles. Regardless of their individual differences, students are expected to master the same concepts, principles and skills set forth by the Diocese of Cleveland. We help each student succeed by identifying the differences and implementing different teaching strategies that will reinforce the required curriculum.
A strong connection between the student and curriculum is crucial for academic success. Our NDES and NDMS teachers are essential in providing this link. Through the use of traditional and progressive teaching methods, NDES and NDMS integrate technology, strong support services, academic enhancements, field experiences, speakers, hands-on STEM activities, collaboration and culmination activities to establish the learning relationship between the student and curriculum.
