“Socktober in Kindergarten”
Once again, the kindergarten classes outreach was in support of “Socktober”. This year our donated socks were given to a nonprofit organization called Homeless Hookup. They provide vital emergency services to the unhoused population and impoverished communities in Northeast Ohio. They provide mobile outreach services with the intention of restoring dignity, regardless of an individual’s living situation and challenges they are facing. As a culminating activity the students wore silly socks to school.
