Ohio History Day
Eighth graders in Ms. Thompson’s social studies class presented their Ohio History Day projects to an esteemed panel of judges last Friday. Ohio History Day strives to teach students research skills, implementation of primary and secondary sources, developing and supporting a thesis, and presentation skills. Students excelled in their interview process and several students from NDMS will be competing at the regional competition on April 1. From this competition students may be asked to compete at the statewide competition on April 22! Stay tuned to find out who advances and congratulations to all our regional candidates!
