Junior Engineers

The short week before Spring Break some STEM classes were given a “Junior Engineers” Easter Egg Challenge. First, they had to find a pug in a hidden picture of Easter eggs. Then they learned why people don’t eat ostrich eggs. Finally, they worked in small groups to 1. Build the tallest egg tower to hold a Peep, 2. Build towers with patterns, and 3. Do speed stacking towers. They also incorporated different counting and measurement skills during the challenge.
