End
of the year celebrations began with the closing school mass presided by
Father Peter Soohyun Bang. This annual mass not only celebrated the end
of the year but also signified the end of elementary school for our 8th
graders and the passing of the leadership to our new student leaders in
seventh grade. During the mass, siblings of eighth grade students
presented heartfelt, farewell messages to their siblings. The day ended
with the traditional 8th grade Clap Out!
On
Tuesday, NDES held their 8th Grade Graduation ceremony and reception. A
special thank you to Mrs. Michelle Mulchin and her team of volunteers
for planning the reception, Mrs. Kim Dixon and her team of volunteers
for creating the beautiful graduation photo boards and Mrs. Melissa
Lazuka for capturing each of our graduates with a special keepsake
photo.
Our
PreK students celebrated their graduation on Tuesday as they prepare to
move on to kindergarten! Earlier today, kindergarten held their
graduation in the auditorium, followed by a picnic reception. We are so
proud of our youngest graduates as they move on to the next level!
On
behalf of our faculty and staff, we would like to offer our sincerest
congratulations to our graduates, big and small. For both 8th graders
and kindergarten, graduation symbolizes transformation and represents
the bright beginnings of a future filled with endless possibilities!
