Notre Dame Schools Welcomes Justin Turk as Chief Financial Officer

? ?On behalf of the Sisters of Notre Dame, the Board of Directors, and the administrative team, please join Notre Dame Schools in welcoming Justin Turk as our new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Turk joins Notre Dame Schools with more than twenty years of experience in finance with a specialization in non-profit organization accounting, most recently having worked at the Diocese of Cleveland as the Diocesan Controller and the Director of Finance for the Catholic Community Foundation. Prior to that, Mr. Turk served in a variety of managerial and supervisory accounting roles for the Diocese. His qualifications and skill set include GAAP Accounting and Financial Management, budgeting and planning, tax reporting, investment reporting and performance, and staff oversight. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from John Carroll University along with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from John Carroll University as well. In joining Notre Dame Schools family, Mr. Turk shares that ‘from his education at John Carroll University, throughout his entire career, following his faith has been central to his professional endeavors, and that he looks forward to helping others on their faith formation journeys here as well.
? ?In his spare time, Mr. Turk resides in Orwell, Ohio, where his wife, Laura, and twin children, Carter and Cloe, are very active in their home school district of Grand Valley Local Schools, and where he is the boy's varsity head basketball coach. They remain avid fans of the Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians, and enjoy spending time with their family’s two Saint Bernards. Mr. Turk will formally join the Notre Dame Schools during the first week of October 2024, and we welcome him to his new role in our school family. Thank you for your continued support.
