Dismissal Procedures

1. Cars are to enter the driveway by the baseball field, just as they do now.
   
2. Cars will form six car lines starting on the right-hand side pulling all the way up to the cones as directed by staff. Once one line is full, another line will start until the parking lot is complete with six car lines.
3. Once all six lines are full, additional cars will remain in the entrance driveway.
   
4. Once cars are in place and parked in one of the six car lines, parents or guardians can leave their cars, move to the pickup area to meet their child(ren) and promptly return to their vehicle to wait for the departure signal.
5. All vehicles will remain in place until all students are situated in their cars. At that time a designated staff member will direct traffic, starting with car line #1 to leave through the exit driveway closest to NDEC.
6. Once the first wave of cars has departed, a designated staff member will direct additional cars into the same lines to begin the same process.

• All vehicles should be turned off and drivers should remain in their vehicles while the car is running.
• Pets are to remain in cars at all times during dismissal.
• The playground may not be used during the dismissal process.
• Cars will not be permitted to exit between the garages– late buses will be waiting in that area until cars have been released.
• Parents/authorized drivers must be ready to receive their children and return to their cars quickly to prepare for a smooth departure.

No, you will need to wait until you are parked in the six line car lane to meet your child(ren).

You will need to let a staff member know the name of your child. The staff member will radio the office who will locate your child. You will be asked to move with traffic and then park in the parking area in front of the school. You will need come to the office and meet your child.

Yes, you can use the playground while you are waiting for dismissal but not during the dismissal process.
